Worried about your bad breath? Embarrassed by your stained teeth? Self-conscious because of stretch marks? These conditions affect most individuals at certain point, although no one likes to admit!

Read on to learn how to solve these common conditions and boost your confidence!

1. Bad breath

In addition to maintaining proper oral hygiene, you can chew a handful of aniseed, fennel seeds, parsley, or mint to neutralize odors.  Another option is to rinse the mouth with a mouthwash made with a cup of water, a teaspoon of baking soda, and a few drops of peppermint oil.

2. Stained teeth

Smoking, tea, coffee, and red wine are some of the major culprits for stained teeth. To restore their natural color, apply activated charcoal to your teeth or try our oil pulling, preferably with coconut oil.

3. Belching

Belching can be quite embarrassing! To avoid uncomfortable situations, sip on ginger after meals and change the way you eat. This means slow and thorough chewing as well as avoiding drinking through a straw.

4. Flatulence

To solve flatulence and belching, eat more fermented foods or take probiotics in order to keep gas-producing bugs in check.  In addition, drink herbal teas to improve digestion and reduce flatulence and bloating.

5. Cold sores

These small blisters are both ugly and painful, aren’t they? To shorten their duration,  apply coconut oil a few times daily.  Alternatively, apply zinc oxide cream which accelerates healing time and eat zinc-rich foods to boost your immunity.

6. Body odor

To get rid of strong bad odor, avoid foods like onion, garlic, and processed foods, all of which increase sweat and body odor.  Drink plenty of water; eat more parsley, mint, and sage; apply witch hazel, which lowers skin`s pH; and detox your pits.

7. Smelly feet

Combine 3 parts water with a part vinegar and essential oils of choice. Soak the feet for about twenty minutes. Alternatively, make your own deodorizing foot using essential oils, arrowroot powder, and kaolin clay.

8. Nail fungus

Crumbling and thickening toenails are quite embarrassing and oftentimes even painful.  To treat this condition at home,  supplement with olive leaf extract, which is a great antifungal and antiviral agent and apply undiluted tea tree oil to the affected nails on a daily basis.

9. Stretch marks

To reduce the appearance of these hair-line scars, use aloe vera gela or apply a homemade body butter made with ingredients like Shea butte, vanilla oil, coconut oil, and vitamin E.

10. Varicose veins

Varicose veins are not only ugly, but they can lead to development of serious health conditions.  Exercise, particularly low-impact exercise like swimming and walking, is the best way to reduce varicose veins.  It has been scientifically shown that horse chestnut extract is also very effective in reducing the appearance of twisted and enlarged veins.

11. Rosacea

Pain, sensitivity and  swelling are some of the most common symptoms of this condition.  Limiting your alcohol intake or cutting it out completely is one of the most effective ways to reduce outbreaks.   Essential oils like lavender, eucalyptus, thyme, rosemary, and chamomile have been also shown to combat inflammation associated with rosacea.

12. Warts

Applying castor oil to the affected area a few times daily helps accelerate the healing process due to its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.  Apple cider vinegar is also very effective remedy, so consider using it on until the wart eventually falls off.

13. Facial hair

It has been scientifically shown that lavender and tea tree oil provide amazing results if used regularly for three months.  Turmeric mask, made of oil of choice, yogurt, and turmeric, make the facial hair finer and less coarse.

14. Dandruff

To get rid of dandruff and itchy scalp,  use apple cider vinegar topically, which kills off the bacteria and fungus responsible for the condition.   Adding essential oils to your shampoo, such as lavender, rosemary, thyme, and chamomile, also helps!

15. Keratosis Pilaris

To get rid of the bumps on the thighs, buttocks, and arms, try dry brushing and increase your vitamin C intake.
